The United Negro College Fund will host it's first Mayor's Masked Ball here in the Raleigh-Durham area benefiting member institutions, Shaw University and Saint Augustine's University. Both Mayor Nance McFarlane and Mayor Bill Bell are Honorary Hosts for the Black Tie Affair at the Raleigh Convention Center. The event is a night of celebration highlighting scholastic stewardship for college students that deserve financial support to complete and further their degrees.
