From the beginning, UNCF-member institutions and churches have enjoyed a close relationship. Churches and their congregations continue to be a part of the UNCF family. Their investment in UNCF’s students, colleges and universities is well spent. With a low cost ratio of 11.92 percent, UNCF can provide the kind of crucial support that our students and schools need. This is why the UNCF-church partnership is essential.

UNCF colleges and students count on you
Your contribution enables UNCF to give member colleges and universities the resources they need to:
- Offer the academic programs students must have to prepare for success and lives of service
- Keep tuition affordable
- Offer their students “last-dollar” scholarships they need to stay in school and graduate
Your support can make the difference
- 60 percent of our students come from families with incomes under $30,000.
- More than 50 percent of the students at UNCF colleges are the first in their families to attend college.
- 92 percent of UNCF students need financial aid.

Create a legacy of giving to UNCF by incorporating UNCF Sundays annually. Contact your local UNCF office and invite a UNCF director to speak at your next church service. Allow UNCF to host an informational scholarship session for college-bound youth in your church.
