2024 UNCF Walk For Education - Cook County Office of the Auditor
I recently accepted the challenge of raising money for the UNCF Walk for Education. I will be participating in the Walk for Education on September 7th and I'm asking for your financial support. I am especially excited as this is UNCF's 80th anniversary this year!
This cause is important to me because it will make education accessible to everyone by eliminating financial barriers for deserving students by providing much-needed college scholarships. As a first-generation college graduate, UNCFs mission is particularly important to me.
Since 1944, the United Negro College Fund (UNCF) has helped minority students live the American dream by helping more than half a million young men and woman graduate from college across the United States. Today, UNCF supports more than 50,000 students attending over 1,100 colleges and universities nationwide, included 37 UNCF-member Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), providing the opportunity for a college education as an HBCU or any other college or university.
Thank you for your support!
