I was truly blessed to go to Lane College, a HBCU and an UNCF member school. The experience and benefits surpassed those I would have received going elsewhere. I did not apply for an UNCF scholarship. Lane College awarded me a 4 year full ride. However, the institutional support that UNCF gave to Lane help keep the cost down for all students. I am  very passionate about paying it forward so other deserving students are afforded the opportunities I received.
