I recently accepted the challenge of raising money for the UNCF Walk for Education. This cause is important to me because it will make education accessible to everyone by eliminating financial barriers for deserving students by providing much-needed college scholarships.  As a member of the Benco Dental Family Foundation, we were instrumental in launching the first UNCF Scholarship for a dental student ~ the Robert Tanner Freeman Scholarship in honor of the first African American dentist
