Dear family and friends,

We have again accepted the challenge of raising money for the 2012 UNCF New Orleans 25th Anniversary Walk for Education. We're hoping you will again join us as teammates or sponsors of our team: Academic Ninjas (Protectors of Education)!

Last year, your amazing generosity helped our team to raise more than $1,800 for students! That is truly unbelievable and speaks volumes about your dedication to students and their future.

As many of you know, this walk is a very personal cause for both of us. As minority students who attended college on academic scholarships, we understand the significance not only of earning an education, but also having the support from our family, friends and community in our academic journey.

We were blessed, and our hard work was rewarded due to the generosity of others who believed everyone deserves an opportunity to attend college. It's time for us to give back and, with your help, we can increase the number of scholarships that are available for the next generation of talented students.
