Hello Friends and Family:

We recently accepted the challenge of raising money for the UNCF New York 3rd Annual Walk/Run for Education. This cause is important to us because we have three male children and all of them are college graduates. Christopher attended Morehouse College which is a UNCF member school. Many of you know WE met in college (smile).  Also,  I worked for this organization for seventeen years, and those were fantastic, but hard times.  Simply put, educating young deserving minority students does not seem to be a priority for many. I/we are pressed into service once again because we know it will make higher education more accessible by reducing financial barriers for deserving students and providing much-needed support for UNCF/Historically Black Colleges and Universities that were there for minority students when others were not.  They are still there for everyone in 2018!!
