The 22nd annual Seattle UNCF Walk, Run, Bike for Education is back in its sixth year since 2000.
Come and join us on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Pratt Park as we walk to help students get to and through college. Corporate teams, fraternities, sororities, groups, churches, organizations and individuals who participate realize that "a mind is a terrible thing to waste"®. UNCF currently supports over 600 UNCF students and scholarship recipients from the Pacific Northwest and Alaska.
We need your support to reach our fundraising goal of $50,000.00!
The 5K walk/run/family bike ride and will start at Edwin T. Pratt Park in Central District neighborhood of Seattle. The 21K fun bike ride through the Central District to Lake Washington and loop around Seward Park and back to Pratt Park.
Afterwards, join us for fun activities in the park featuring a fitness challenge for all ages and a Bike Rodeo hosted by Bikeworks and Rainier Riders for kids ages 6-14 to learn about the ABC’s of bicycling. The day will also feature the sixth annual UNCF BBQ Cook-Off and Kids Happy Hour.

2015 Team Challenge presented by Alaska Airlines
Form your teams today to participate in the Walk for Education “2015 Team Challenge presented by Alaska Airlines”. The top three teams will be recognized during the Walk and the top fundraising team will receive four (4) roundtrip tickets on Alaska Airlines. For official rules, see Team Captain Handbook.
Divine Nine Greek Challenge Cup
The top National Pan-Hellenic Council Inc. (NPHC) fraternity and sorority that register as a walk team and fundraises the most money for the walk, will be recognized at the walk. The top overall fundraising NPHC walk team will be the winner of the challenge. That team will receive a grand prize and the organization’s name will be engraved in the official Greek Challenge Cup. There is no registration fee. All registered participants who raise $50 and above will have the opportunity to win fundraising prizes. See prizes.
