The City of Miramar has partnered with UNCF (United Negro College Fund) to assist in transforming the lives of young men and women who don’t have an opportunity to go to college or to pursue their dreams.

We are proud to announce that The City of Miramar has created a scholarship program with UNCF to help assist students at Everglades High School and Miramar High. UNCF believes, as we do, that all students should have equal access to a college education that prepares them for successful careers and shapes a better future for them.

We are asking the Miramar family to support this worthy cause. Our goal is $10,000!

UNCF has helped minority students live the American dream by helping more than half a million young men and women graduate from college across the United States. Today, UNCF supports more than 60,000 students attending over 1,100 colleges and universities nationwide, including 37 UNCF-member HBCUs, thereby providing the opportunity for a college education at an HBCU or any other college or university.
