In alignment with our vision of "Charting a New Course" and empowering students to become successful global residents, Halifax County Schools is proud to partner with the United Negro College Fund (UNCF) to raise funds in support of its vital mission. For nearly 80 years, UNCF has been instrumental in supporting 37 member Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and over 60,000 students annually. By providing scholarships, internships, and programs, UNCF ensures that students not only access higher education but also succeed in completing their journeys toward lifelong success.

This partnership underscores our commitment to creating a supportive and positive learning environment that addresses the needs of the whole student through collaboration with educators, staff, parents, and communities. Every contribution helps eliminate the financial barriers that many of our students face, opening doors to brighter futures.
