For Jeanette Davis-Loeb, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Dynamic Industries, LLC and Founder and CEO of Rising Oak Foundation, leading an effort to raise funds and awareness to make higher education accessible to all young people is a labor of love.  The Seattle native has put her career on hold for the moment to help students. As she so aptly puts it, “now that it’s my turn to receive the joy of giving, I can think of no better organization to work in partnership with than UNCF.”

One of Jeanette’s major initiatives has been to establish the Seattle Area “A Mind Is” Annual Giving Society of the United Negro College Fund (UNCF).  The Society is designed for committed individuals whose mission is to help financially challenged minority students get a college education.  Says Jeanette, “Having had the distinct honor of attending one of UNCF’s finest schools top ranked Spelman College I believe that I have a sacred trust to help provide this pivotal experience for other young minds eager to discover the limitless bounty that HBUCs hold in store for them.

There are many donors like Jeanette who are making a deep personal commitment to - not only make regular charitable contributions but to donate their time and talent to raise funds for UNCF students and our member schools as well.

Continue the work of Jeanette Loeb.  Make a gift in their honor or in honor of someone you love today.
